Day Trip From Los Angeles California!
A Southern California day trip to Old Towne Orange Ca. One of the short and fun day trips from Los Angeles that your whole family will like.
Established in 1871, the City of Orange is one of the most historic cities in Orange County California.
I recommend Old Towne Orange as one of the great Southern California day trips from Los Angeles, because the Old Towne has one of the best walking districts in Southern California.
In just one square mile, there are more than 100 antique dealers, along with one of a kind restaurants, tearooms, art galleries, boutiques and a charming central plaza that was created in the late 1800′s.
The central plaza in Old Towne has an old fashioned tiled foutain, and a rose garden. It’s a perfect spot to sit, sip coffee from a nearby cafe, and take in the view of this quaint old town in California.
One of Southern California day trips destinations that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

On this day trip to Old Towne Orange, you’ll find lots of architectural styles, including Victorian, craftsman, Mediterranean revival, and Spanish colonial building styles.
The charming surrounding residential neighborhoods have one of the largest concentration of pre-1940′s homes in Southern California.
Old Towne Orange could easily be the setting for the movie It’s a Wonderful Life. All that’s missing is the snow.
