Bed and Breakfast
Southern California

Most bed and breakfast in Southern California are usually hosted by the owners, and are similar to a stay at a mini boutique hotel.

However, several romantic bed and breakfast inns are in charming old fashioned homes that will remind you of grandma’s house.

Almost all will require a minimum stay of 2 nights. Be sure to ask about their cancellation policy, because most bed and breakfast inns will most likely want a cancellation notice well in advance.

It’s possible to book a B & B directly, but some will only list with an agency.

Room rates fluctuate from season to season, or even from midweek to weekend.

Ask for information about discounts and package deals.

Many of the bed and breakfast inns listed below are in restored elegant mansions or country manors.

My husband and I stayed at the Venice Beach House. It’s a lovely restored old home about a 5 minutes walk from the beach and pier.

There are several great restaurants within walking distance also.
